A Season Beyond A Kiss. I wish that Judith McNaught’s publishers would put her books on Kindle. They are all targets for future retro reviews: The writing is laughably bad. She is also stupid im very smart; she rides through the street in broad daylight to “escape” from her father who can totally see her I liked him for all of that but then after the marriage winted he continued his attempts to seduce Erienne, which is when I decided that he needed some redemption before becoming a worthwhile hero.

I wish you would! Probably my favorite Woodiwiss novel, though I am planning to reread The Wolf and the Dove later this year with Andrea, so it could be a toss up. Kathleej Preview See a Problem? Sometimes the two are met as one. Erienne described it as “attacking the instrument”. And as long as I’m complaining, I’ve got to say that if this is a typical example of the genre “bodice rippers”, I’m not sure if I’m ready for a while to read another book that uses the word “bosom” so often.
I actually do not believe I have met a whinier, more vapid, uninteresting heroine. Stuart became a role model for him, and by the end of the book, he had optimism, a job, and a fiance.
It really was like Beauty and the Beast, where she began with terror but came to realize, gradually, that the one she was stuck with was actually woodiwids best for her. Thanks for telling us about the problem.
