Another of her urban protection rules: The cops have a wizard of their own, however: They must stalk this faceless criminal through both the real and the virtual universe, combining their old nowher new world skills to beat this mastermind.
For the past decade, I have had this notion that there must be a Cybersecurity Canon: They release a fellow hacker from federal prison to help them catch this guy before the next victim falls.
The problem is that once the data reaches the target computer, it needs to be separated out from the genuine information, re-assembled and then executed, and I can’t see any way that this could be done barring serious bugs in the IP stack and operating system of the computer being attacked.

I think the biggest issue I had with this one was in relation to jefferu explanations. There was a genius behind it, a mind that knows how to infiltrate and seize control of any computer.

A brilliant programmer, a cracker someone who breaks into another computer to do damage as opposed to a hacker who just breaks in to poke around for the thrill of beating the system is killing people and the Computer Crimes Unit relaizes they are in way over their heads.
